Prof. Brian Yueshuai He of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Louisville is actively seeking two new Ph.D. students to join his renowned Mobility-Eco Technology Lab (METLab). These fully funded positions start in Summer/Fall 2024.

## Position: Ph.D. Student
**Start Date**: Summer/Fall 2024

### Research Areas:

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work on innovative research areas including:

- Transportation System Modeling
- Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning
- Agent-Based Simulation
- Human Mobility and Trajectories
- Spatial-Temporal Data Analysis
- Electric Vehicles

Candidates may engage in agent-based modeling, large-scale microsimulation, and the analysis, modeling, simulation, control, and deployment of future mobility systems.

## Desired Qualifications:

Candidates with backgrounds in the following areas are highly encouraged to apply:

- Agent-Based Modeling
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data Science
- Statistics
- Related Fields

**Preferred Skills**:
- Strong computer programming skills (e.g., Java, Python) with demonstrable experience.
